Catherine Bond
Catherine Bond

APRN

Brooksville

Catherine Bond, APRN is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certified in Family Practice. She received her Master’s in nursing from the University of South Florida including induction into Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her article, “Traumatic Brain Injury: Help for the Family” was published in RN, The Journal of Professional Nursing in November 2002. The article was written from a personal life event she experienced when her daughter sustained a traumatic brain injury from an automobile accident in 1997. Her professional experience includes emergency, trauma and flight nursing as well as paramedic and firefighting. Her passion for nursing began as a child due to personal hospitalizations and the desire to help others in need. She feels that the best medical care includes experience, compassion, a warm personality and heartfelt empathy for her patients. She spends free time enjoying her family, caring for her daughter, traveling, reading and crafting. Traveling has certainly presented a few interesting and funny moments—when your name is Bond. And, yes, her father’s name was James! She grew up in Central Florida, most of which was in Hernando County, where she currently resides with her daughter, Lisa.
