Martha Moran

APRN

Martha Moran, APRN, is a Family Nurse Practitioner who recently relocated to the Central Florida area from Texas. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1990 and received her Master's of Science Degree in Nursing (Family Practice) from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. Martha is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience includes family-centered care for all ages, well-woman care—including yearly exams and birth control, and a background in preventative care.

Martha believes that having a great bedside manner is a critical component in quality patient care and sets the stage for a successful interaction between she and her patients. By actively listening to her patients and displaying warmth, empathy and respect she is able to build trust which is essential for long-term doctor-patient relationships.

Martha enjoys reading and traveling with her husband and daughters. She also has a passion for mission work and has served on several medical mission teams.

If you are scheduled with one of our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, who is licensed to practice autonomously, please know that the board of nursing has the authority to grant APRNs to practice autonomously under Section 464.0123 if the applicant demonstrates that they:

Hold a Clear, Active, Florida APRN License
Must not have been subject to disciplinary action as specified in s. 456.072, F.S. or s. 464.018, F.S., or any similar disciplinary action in any state or jurisdiction within the past five years.
Have completed at least 3000 clinical hours under the supervision of an allopathic or osteopathic physician within the past 5 years. These hours may include clinical instructional hours. See 464.123(1)(c), F.S. for complete requirements.
Submit proof of three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in differential diagnosis, and three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in pharmacology completed within the last five years.
When engaging in autonomous practice, an APRN must provide information in writing to a new patient about their qualifications and the nature of autonomous practice before or during the initial patient encounter.
