Nathalie Grant, APRN received her Associate's of Science Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College. She went on to complete her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing and Master's of Science Degree in Nursing at Barry University in Miami, FL. Nathalie pursued the nursing education and Family Nurse Practitioner tract for her Master's of Science Degree in Nursing. Nathalie received her Education Doctorate Degree in Health Care Education with
a minor in Curriculum Development from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Professionally, Nathalie taught nursing students for many years at the undergraduate
and graduate levels. In addition, she is a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students from
local universities and loves what she does—both in providing health care
to her patients and teaching.
Nathalie’s research interest is in the area of women’s preventative healthcare such as mammograms and cervical cancer screening. She started a nonprofit organization to help with the cost of mammograms and breast ultrasound in underserved communities. Her other area of interest is diabetes. Nathalie’s hobbies include traveling, gardening and reading. She also enjoys volunteering with her church for medical missions to the Dominican Republic.

If you are scheduled with one of our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, who is licensed to practice autonomously, please know that the board of nursing has the authority to grant APRNs to practice autonomously under Section 464.0123 if the applicant demonstrates that they:

Hold a Clear, Active, Florida APRN License
Must not have been subject to disciplinary action as specified in s. 456.072, F.S. or s. 464.018, F.S., or any similar disciplinary action in any state or jurisdiction within the past five years.
Have completed at least 3000 clinical hours under the supervision of an allopathic or osteopathic physician within the past 5 years. These hours may include clinical instructional hours. See 464.123(1)(c), F.S. for complete requirements.
Submit proof of three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in differential diagnosis, and three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in pharmacology completed within the last five years.
When engaging in autonomous practice, an APRN must provide information in writing to a new patient about their qualifications and the nature of autonomous practice before or during the initial patient encounter.
