Alex Bretz, Physician Assistant, is originally from Jupiter, FL, and currently resides in Palm Beach Gardens. She attended Florida State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. She worked as a medical assistant in the field of dermatology before being accepted into the Stony Brook University Physician Assistant program in Long Island, NY. During her time at Stony Brook, she served as class president and completed clinical rotations in the areas of medicine, surgery, geriatrics, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and orthopedics. Alex’s passion for primary care stems from the ability to treat patients of all ages with both acute and chronic diseases. Her goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to her patients, and to ensure they leave the office feeling confident in their health care plan. In her spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with family, trying out new recipes, exercising, and cheering on the Seminoles!
