Rebecca Damiani, APRN, FNP-C joined the My Health Onsite team in November 2022. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 18 years prior to attending her Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Community General Hospital at Syracuse, New York in 1995. She received her National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in November 1996 and has maintained that certification for 27 years.
Rebecca’s experience as an advanced healthcare provider includes working 15 years in a Family Medical Practice in rural upstate New York. She provided health care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Her responsibilities included diagnosing and treating chronic and acute medical conditions including mental health concerns. She traveled to local schools to provide general physical examinations for students from elementary through high school—including sports clearance exams.
From 2010 to 2022, Rebecca worked at Cornell University in the college health center providing primary care, Women’s health, and travel medicine. She enjoys cycling, playing the piano, kayaking and playing with her Havanese puppy. She loves to spend time with her two granddaughters Athena and Esme. Rebecca finds purpose and meaning in her life by caring for individuals to enhance their physical, emotional and mental health by providing listening, caring and good medicine.

If you are scheduled with one of our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, who is licensed to practice autonomously, please know that the board of nursing has the authority to grant APRNs to practice autonomously under Section 464.0123 if the applicant demonstrates that they:

Hold a Clear, Active, Florida APRN License
Must not have been subject to disciplinary action as specified in s. 456.072, F.S. or s. 464.018, F.S., or any similar disciplinary action in any state or jurisdiction within the past five years.
Have completed at least 3000 clinical hours under the supervision of an allopathic or osteopathic physician within the past 5 years. These hours may include clinical instructional hours. See 464.123(1)(c), F.S. for complete requirements.
Submit proof of three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in differential diagnosis, and three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in pharmacology completed within the last five years.
When engaging in autonomous practice, an APRN must provide information in writing to a new patient about their qualifications and the nature of autonomous practice before or during the initial patient encounter.
