Jennifer Ulseth is an experienced nurse practitioner with Tampa General Medical Group who acts as a patient advocate and provides education to deliver positive outcomes for her patients. Ulseth previously provided primary care with Tampa General Medical Group and HIV services for patients with complex medical conditions at Tampa General Hospital. Ulseth has an obesity medicine certificate and believes in a patient-centered approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures and personalized care plans. She is very passionate about patient advocacy and improving health education and literacy.

Ulseth received her Master of Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from South University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fortis College and an Associate of Arts in Biology from St. Petersburg College. She is affiliated with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC).

Hold a Clear, Active, Florida APRN License
Must not have been subject to disciplinary action as specified in s. 456.072, F.S. or s. 464.018, F.S., or any similar disciplinary action in any state or jurisdiction within the past five years.
Have completed at least 3000 clinical hours under the supervision of an allopathic or osteopathic physician within the past 5 years. These hours may include clinical instructional hours. See 464.123(1)(c), F.S. for complete requirements.
Submit proof of three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in differential diagnosis, and three graduate-level semester hours (or the equivalent) in pharmacology completed within the last five years.
When engaging in autonomous practice, an APRN must provide information in writing to a new patient about their qualifications and the nature of autonomous practice before or during the initial patient encounter.
