Loretta Blanchard
Autonomous APRN*
Bunnell
Loretta has been a nurse since 1992. She earned both her undergraduate degrees (ADN, BSN) at Ohio University-Athens, Ohio. In 2011, she received her graduate degree (MSN) at Malone University. Loretta is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP). Her research focused on the perceptions of the Hispanic population having Type 2 Diabetes. She also has special interest in Women's Health—completing extra clinical time volunteering for a local free clinic providing preventative breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings.
Loretta's Nurse Practitioner career started as a Hospitalist at Genesis Healthcare Systems. In 2014, she began her family practice primary care career with Genesis Medical Group caring for her own panel of patients for seven years until she and her spouse moved to Port Orange, Florida. In 2020, her spouse retired from the local Fire Department as Assistant Chief having served our community for 31 years. Prior to moving to Florida in 2021, Loretta obtained her Autonomous Authority Practice licensure.
Loretta feels blessed to be a part of the My Health Onsite family. When she is not working, Loretta enjoys beaching, kayaking, bike riding, spending time with her two Boxer dogs Toby and Jaxon—walking them on dog beaches. She has been married for 25 years with three adult sons and four grandchildren.
